Privacy Policy

GISMAT is a dating application operated by RAMEXAR LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what control you have over it. By using GISMAT you agree to this policy. GISMAT is only for people aged 18 or older.

1. Information we collect

• Account & profile: email address, first and last name, date of birth, gender, who you are interested in, bio, and the photos you upload.
• Location: your approximate location while the app is open, used to show people near you. Your exact coordinates are never shown to other users — distances are rounded and map positions are blurred to roughly 400 m.
• Content you create: messages, voice notes, photos and files sent in chats; likes, pokes, and profile visits.
• Verification data: if you choose to verify your profile, the selfie and government ID photos you submit (passport details page or ID card, both sides). These are used only for identity review.
• Payment data: subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — we only receive your subscription status.
• Technical data: device and usage information needed to operate the service, plus push-notification tokens if you enable notifications.

2. How we use it

• To operate the service: showing profiles nearby, matching, chat, notifications.
• To enforce our rules: age limits (18+), verification review, moderation of reported content.
• To provide paid features and manage your subscription.
• To keep the platform safe: blocking, reporting, and abuse prevention.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not show third-party advertising.

3. What other users can see

Your first name, age (unless you hide it in Settings), photos, bio, verification badge, approximate distance, and online status. If you hide your age, it is not displayed anywhere, although age-range search still works internally. You can also hide yourself from the map ("ghost mode") or snooze your entire profile in Settings.

4. Where your data lives

Data is stored with our infrastructure provider Supabase (database, storage, authentication). Payments are handled by Stripe. Our public web pages are hosted on Vercel. Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms as our processor.

5. Retention & deletion

• You can delete individual photos, messages/conversations, and other content in the app.
• You can delete your entire account at any time in Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, photos, matches and messages.
• Verification photos are retained only as long as needed for review and safety purposes.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us — most actions (editing profile, hiding age, deleting content or your account) are also available directly in the app.

7. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you in the app before they take effect.
